Dear Friends,
This month marks ten years since I started tattoong. This is the longest relationship I have been in, and it merits a celebration.
I am throwing a dance party to appreciate you, celebrate my career, and raise a few bucks for my next endeavor, Ink Medicine Tattoo in Oakland, California, coming Spring or Summer 2019.
I vow to make my shop a reflection of my life's work and personal passions. I/We will be devoted to healing our collective hearts by putting black and brown folks first, being really gay and queer, dismatling patriarchy, and loving our bodies, through tattoo art and artistic expression.
Now, more about this party...
It's a prom! Did you go to prom? Maybe you did, maybe you didnt, but its likely it was a weird time, so come and redo your prom with us, whether you are flying solo, coming with your hot partner, casual date, several partners, several dates or any combination of friends.
This prom will be inside a large gym, just like in high school, only better, no bleachers.
We will have:
- Yummy food and refreshing drinks. Spiked punch, anyone?
- A fun Photobooth so you will never forget your adult prom outfit!
- The best DJ in town. DJ Mysdefy!!!! We will dance until we can't.
